Who We Are
Back2Lifeprojectuk is a social enterprise led by first-hand individual experience committed to supporting young and adult minority neurodivergent women, with or without convictions, aged 18 and above.
The organisation prepares participants for the workplace and concentrates on breaking the cycle of trauma.
Becoming the glue between organisations within the community, giving participants empowerment, a voice, and a space to be seen or heard.
We have decided to address the underrepresentation and mental wellbeing of neurodivergent ex-offenders trying to reintegrate back into the workplace.
Through my lived experience, research, and introducing thriving with trauma as a Tool for Life booklet. We found that fairness and inclusion are celebrations of diversity.
We are supporting the movement by providing a platform for our organisation to fight for the promotion of our fundamental mental wellness.
In order to help participants succeed in the workplace, we are committed to advancing and promoting focus group discussions (Creating Safe Spaces), holistic coaching techniques, CBT therapy, and creative health workshops.
We believe that people are capable of positive growth and change.
Mission
Empowering neurodivergent women with convictions involves preparing them for the workplace through life coaching workshops, CBT techniques, and Creative Health. This fosters positive mindset shifts, breaks the cycle of re-offending, and restores hope.
Vision
We dream of a future where every woman, irrespective of age, disability, convictions, trauma, sexuality, or beliefs, feels empowered and included enough to create a second chance to pass the torch to another, ensuring that all women recognise the light and opportunities awaiting them. We aspire to inhabit a world that nurtures and empowers us to flourish—a world committed to serving our community and acting as the cohesive force that unites us.
